My son got a deer with his bow Saturday night and we found it Sunday morning. Due to the location in which we found it we had to quarter it in order to carry it out. We hung the quarters in an opened sided shed and thanks to high temperatures in the upper teens the quarters are now frozen. It is supposed to be 42 and rainy tomorrow so I was wondering if I were to hang them off of the loader bucket in the rain tomorrow if that would be a suitable way to thaw them out so we can debone it tomorrow after he gets out of school? Thank you

Should not be a problem.

Two months later, I'm sure he got it figured out.
I hope so as he posted it and got no help...as cold as it has been in Illinois I figured it might just still be frozen.
