Well I got the commercial cows A.I.'d yesterday. I am glad that is done. I do a synched protocol so I have to get them up 3 times.....what a pain. :cry: A bunch of cows in heat at the same time is hard on corral panels with all of the riding going on. I hope I have a high success rate. We'll see come February. I'm turning the bull in in a few days. Maybe he can tip me off on which cows took. I used a Gelbvieh bull on half and a Balancer on the other half. My registered cattle are spread out a bit so I am awaiting their calves. I plan to use Goldrush Visa, Carolina Fortune and CMFS 6288 on them.

We just finished last night. Used, Rid Collateral,Natural,Iron Mountain, Boaz,Krugerrand,Ozz Govenor, and Lazy TV Sam.
 
yep done here too,i used timed ai om april 28,used bennett s30,and flying h atlas,thanks to both of you for putting me on the bennett bull :clap:
 
Thanks for the well wishes. 3way that is quite the line up of who's who of the Gelbvieh world. You should have a strong crop next year. Cattlewrangler... did you use Atlas 712 or his son (my favorite) Atlas 101N? I am going to use S30 next year when I have a big enough order from Bull Barn to justify the shipping cost.

Thanks SS. I was down in your neck of the woods today. I had to go down to Arab, Alabama and call on a customer. I drove right through Huntsville. I have to go down there the next 3 Mondays. At least it is a pretty drive from here :cowboy:

You down here breeding cows or for the day job? Do you take 65 or 231/431?
