Thats the one Ouachita. That Arkansas fellar needs to have a look around in them Ouachita hills. These little Boston hills ain't near as pretty as them.

I beg to differ on that opinion Red Bull. I have always thought the Ozarks were prettier. Maybe that it's just a case of the "grass is greener". That Buffalo River valley has my unbiased vote for the most beautiful place I've seen in the 48, and I've been to all minus 3

I kinda think he would like the Eureka Springs area. I have to agree that the Buffalo is a kinda pretty place. To much of a tourist trap now a days. You folks got pretty country over your way. Got some friends that lives around Mena that has a pretty place.

If you can throw a Full grown doe from the lake region over your back more power to ya. I was smarter. Long rope and a truck. Saves the back and legs.

Randy they keep telling me that I live on the ridge and I haven't seen it yet
My 17 yr old daughter kept asking me where the hills were everyone kept talking about showed her and she said Dad our exit ramps on the highway are bigger that that hill

Hook
I know ol RBB personally and I don't doubt for a minute he could throw a big doe over his shoulder and set off at a pace that would be hard to keep up with in them lil hills and hollers he lives in
I dang sure wouldn't want him to reach out and hit me with one of them orangutan arms of his and I dang sure wouldn't want to get in a foot race with him

I remember shooting one doe while sitting on the side of a rather sharp draw. Gravois arm of the lake. She dropped and them rolled down to the bottom of the draw. After dressing her, had to drag her back up the side I was sitting on. 3 steps forward (or was that upward) 2 back. By the time I got her to where the rope could reach her my legs were absolute jelly. I should have quartered her or cleaned her right there.

Ac, I'm not doubting him at all. I've just never had the need to throw one over and the thought of doing that kills my back

I have spent a my whole life climbing around these hills Hook, kinda get use to them after a while. My place joins a big block of the Ozark national Forest.

My place joins a big block of the Ouachita National Forest. Maybe we should share hunting privileges ;-)

Lol, if he is anything like me then he doesnt care about size. I hear people say the bigger they are the harder they fall. But just remember the bigger they are the harder they hit too. I may get hit by someone 20 times before I hit him once. But when I hit them once its over hopefully..

Not a model bub by far, I am a Harry teddy bear as the wife says. I dont much care for fighting cuz in the end both guys are always hurt. I have had plenty of fracture's, broken bones and stitches. All because I was young and dumb, always thought I had to prove myself. As you get older you realize its not about intimidation and fighting or who's dad can whoop who. Its about helping each other out even in differences, as anyone else I am still learning. :tiphat:

Things have calmed down on this thread. That's good to see. I would rather discuss cattle than argue. I was looking for an avatar for myself last night. I got afraid my wife would think I was looking at gay porn and stopped.
