SAme here. Gauge ran over at 5 inches and still sprinkling. Stock tank is running over the spillway....Truly blessed.
 
No rain here since early may . Got a inch last night . It's drier here than it was during the summer 11 . It's kinda deceiving because we were 18 + inches in the good over the winter and early spring . But when you grow grass in sand a couple weeks with no rain is bad much less 100 days without ..
 
glad yall got some,, hang on to the front a few more day where i can play catch up.. aint rained in nearly 3 weeks and i still got mud ...got a full weekend of hoggin' on tap

Must be wide spread here in Texas--it's coming down here too---not as much as you folks are getting, but a slow steady rain--the kind we need.
I was in the Sulphur Springs area last weekend, and it was terrible dry--far worse than here. Hopefully, they got some too. The pens at the Hopkins County livestock salebarn sure were filling up Sunday evening too.
(Just looked at the livestock report--they ran right at 1900 hd thru)
 
We got just over an inch! Much needed since we have not had rain since the beginning of August! Grass was dying in the best growing time!!! We are doing the happy dance, and praising God for the blessings!
 
I've had 3 inches over the last week. It was just what we needed, instead of 3 inches in a day. Now I have 290 acres to bale next week, so I'll take a dry week and then some more please.
 
good to hear you are getting some and that colorado didn't hog it all :P

I figure we've had about 3 inches since springtime... but we have a creek to irrigate from... we can't imagine having to wait for rain
 
We ended up with 3.21" with no run off. Had a front come through last night and push everything out of here, so we're sunshine and 60* this morning. We were truly blessed!
 
Wind has turned out of the North here too Slick--dunno how much "pushing" it going to be able to do this close to the coast, but cooled things down anyway. Fall has arrived right on schedule--or one day early.
 
It woke me up at about 3:30 AM coming in heavy.
8:30 AM now and still sprinkling with just over 4 1/2 in the guage.
Get ready ALA.

They are telling us that the front you mentioned will bring us snow by the end of the week. That will be the end of my tomatoes. I am looking forward to seeing how the collards taste after a frost though.
