I often forget to 'thank', and sometimes, I don't see the thank button in some threads.

I detest websites where people 'like' every single post they look at. Pretty sure they have some kind of agreement under the radar with other members "If you will like all my posts, I'll do the same for you", as if having thousands of 'likes' somehow elevates them above the scenery.
If someone solves a problem or provides a quick answer, that's definitely befitting of 'thanks'. Telling everyone what they decided to wear today is not.

I'm glad to see we at CT use the option judiciously.
