I hope everyone is watching the weather, they are saying this could be severe when it gets east.............good luck

They were talking atleast an inch of rain here. I was thinking of burning some brush piles. Big ones. This is on some over grown land I bought back in January. Now they are talking severe winds coming in too. Guess I will hold off on the brush burning if the winds are going to get up.

I'd sure like to push some more trees and brush but there is already a bunch piled up.

I sure need to get me something to push with,be alot faster than this shear and chain saw,I believe you are right about waiting on burning the brush piles,I must have 20 or 30 that need burning, with some of these oaks trees in them that are 3 foot in diameter, they can burn for days,so I always watch the weather for wind..............good luck & happy New Year

All that moisture in the form of snow oughta come in handy this coming year ?...................good luck & Happy New Year.

I have a daughter living in a travel trailer close to Houston. Her Husband builds concrete water towers. We are a little worried about them. I hope there is not too much wind with that system.

I loaned my caterpillar to a friend. He had been clearing with a tractor and chainsaw for years. He must have rode that caterpillar 20 days straight. When I picked it up it had all new oil, filters and fluids, right down to anti-freeze. He must have really appreciated it.

This guy is pretty good. I like the way he takes care of equipment. I bought in "on the halves" on some used equipment with him a while back.

Well ,the storm blew through,I wound up with wind and about 4 tenths in the rain gauge,no damage around here,I hope no one was injured and the damage was minimal elsewhere,I know it really caused some problems north of me...........good luck & Happy New Year.

We got maybe 1". The bands kept going just east and west of us. On the west they were running between 183 and 35 and friends at Niederwald got 5". They're less the 30 minutes away. I heard Seguin got pounded.Z

We got 4 inches at our place in E. TX. Yea!

Eight inches according to the neighbor we had to leave in the middle of it last night as one of our kids had to go in the hospital south of Houston. Other son out of Madisonville said area was tore up pretty bad by tornado's. I will know in a day or two when I get back, it's just cows and fence all of it can be replaced.

VM, thats a tough one CB. One of my sons had a bout with it a few years ago, he came through just fine. I pray yours will to. I'll never forget when they did the spinal tap he won't forget either. I know your child is suffering. All a parent can do is pray.
