Good luck all of y'all. Wish I could be up there to meet the many great Tenneseeans I've met on these boards! Maybe next year I'll head up there for a few days.

Jay,
Wish you could make it up. I know my stepson could learn a lot from you. But, I realize how busy you must be at this time of year. Maybe next time.

I'm not going to be able to make to Murfreesboro. Tried but it just didn't work out. Will be heading to the show in Nortonville, KY though. Anyone on here goin to that show, too?

p.s. just found out I won't be making the trip to Nortonville after all... heading to nebraska instead... seems like our plans get changed by the day here.

THis is just a show. But I would bet that a lot of the animals there could be bought. It is actually a 2-day show, which means there will be 2 different shows, with 2 different judges.

A quick update from the show, after the first day.
!st place for steer.
2nd place for one of Rustlers.
3rd place for our bull.
3rd. place for another of Rustlers.
Two 3rd place for our non-haltered.

We didn't get to take the heifer we wanted to take for the non-haltered, she just refused to load on the trailer.

We did a little better on Sunday. Our bull calf was 2nd in his class and won Reserve Champion in the field.

There were very few competeing in the Showmanship, so the judge awarded 1st place to all. Thought that was kinda neat.

Rustler did real well with his 2 haltered females on Sunday as well. Claudette won Reserve Grand Champion and Legacy won Grand Champion.

It was a lot of fun, but was a very long weekend.

Those multiple show weekends surely do wear you out. But I still love 'em. I still have Rockdale and Nebraska to go to, which are both 3-show weekends.

speaking of results... our bull RCR Scorpion's Stinger, won Grand Champion Bull at Stillwater, OK. All the rest of our animals did pretty sorry, well only 1 other 1st place, but he won so it was all good.
