Tell me about a ford/NH 2120

Have found a ford /nh 2120 with a 7309 frontend loader 4wd around 1900 hr. Asking 11000 cash . Is this tractor large enough to handle large round bales 5x6 around 1500lb.. The tractor seems in good shape . I would guess a 7 out of 10 . Its in my price range . And I have a larger tractor for heaver jobs . Needing a tractor with fIL . thanks rj

I agree with Tom. I personally think you need to look at a bigger tractor for those bales.

I have a friend that has a 2120 ford with a loader and from what I can see it wouldn't be heavy enough to handle 1500 lbs .

I think it would pick them up ok. It would probably be best to have a bale on the back. It weighs 4500lbs. Rear lift is rated 3500lbs. If it has a half yard bucket bucket level full of sand will be 1250-1300lbs. A heaped up bucket easily way 1500lbs. A little bigger tractor would be better but you could probably make do.
