Teff Grass

I saw an article in the latest Hay and Forage Grower magazine about Teff Grass. Does anyone here have any experience with Teff or know where I can get in contact with someone who has some expreience. It looks like it could be a good crop for our crop rotation.

I grew it in South Africa with good results, just google teff seed, there is plenty of local information available.

I'm work for the USDA and we maintain part of the national seed collection which includes teff. I have a brochure from a seed company on teff if you would like it. It gives quite a bit of info on their variety and a lot of production info.

Did you notice in the article picture how much residual heighth they left, where it shows the baler coming up the windrow? Makes me wonder if you can cut it lower on the second cut? Or what the reason is for it?
