We have this cow that we bought already bred last year. She looks like she is Angus/Brangus cross. She is solid black with a dewlap and navel flap. She was supposedly bred to an Angus bull when we bought her. She had a beautiful red calf that had the light rings around the eyes and nose like a Limousin. He grew well and we were pleased but surprised about his color and markings.
This year she just had a calf out of a registered Charolais Bull and it is red with the Limousin markings like the calf last year. He is a pretty thing but he looks more Limousin than Brangus or Charolais.
