Streaming TV Services

I have Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Paramount +. Our son has MAX that we use and he and his wife use our APPs as well. I believe netflix with ads is 10-15 a month, Paramount+ is I believe 99 a year and Prime is I believe $150/year but we have it mostly for the free shipping anyway. There are also several free apps on the roku that we use from time to time, most of those have commercials. We also have an antenna.

No, We are retired for 10+years now. My wife has a phone. I hot spot off her a couple times a day. Not even enough to watch videos.

Not sure what you like to watch but Netflix has a lot of original series that are pretty good. It's cheap.

You will probably have to add Paramount or P+ to what ever you get to see the Tailor Sheridan stuff.
Just got a notice their monthly rates going up to around $20+tax.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.
We have Hugh's. It works good enough unless the dish gets covered by snow. How does the price compare?
Much better than Hugh’s. One rate for Starlink. The service is 10 times better. Hugh’s has a fixed satellite dish. The Starlink satellite actually moves on it’s own and tracks their satellites (I don’t know how many but they put up more each launch). I’m not sure what the availability is now for their permanently fixed dish but when I got mine they only offered their mobile system. We got the mobile system and just anchored it to our roof.

Starlink here also. No fiber available anytime soon and cell modems don't work well where we are. It was the best thing we did for TV streaming and unlimited internet. The Mrs. works remote and young adult kid uses it frequently for streaming, school work, tv etc…. Had hughes quoted, it was more per month with limited data. Starlink was about $500 for the hardware. Pretty easy diy install. Monthly is $109. Still have dish network but its going away soon, just dont watch enough for the $. Going to a digital antenna for local and keep using streaming like prime & hulu.

Starlink is massively better than Hughes

Agree completely. If you dig into the specs, it is tough to beat Starlink. It has proven to be highly reliable, with very fast speeds and more than sufficient bandwidth for multiple users simultaneously. We have only experienced very brief outages with extreme weather, literally right over the house. Even then, it reacquired quickly and back to business as usual.

Just had fiber run to the house, had Hughes prior, it was a big waste of money. The guy installing the fiber informed me that he had starling and how great it was- after I had signed the fiber contract, lol.
