strange preg cow

have an 11 year old cow due to calve any day. for the last 3 days she has been trying to mount another preg cow. she does nt try with any other cow just this certain individual. i know some cows can give off a scent to show heat even though they are preg but would this last 3 days and why dont the others try to mount her. this is the first time this has happened since they came in 3 months ago. could it be the 11 yo hormoans where she is close to calve. anyone seen this before?

my son bought a 5 y/o 2nd stage jerseyX cow and when we brought her home she tried riding the bull for several days the crazy thing. maybe she just liked the looks of the big black guy and was wishing. lol

It is because her hormone levels are changing. Makes some silly sometimes.

i had one last year stand for 2 or 3 to ride her and i just new she was not bred. i let it go and she calves right on time with the others. i had her checked before the incident and she was bred, women do CRAZY stuff.
