Well, today was the day! This guy went to the processor. He was so easy going that I had a hard time loading him. I got him in the alley going to the trailer and he just stood there. He looked around, licked the trailer, scratched on it a bit but just wouldn't step up and on in. I put some sweet feed at the front but he wasn't tempted. I finally put a bar behind his butt and with a big lever encouraged him and he went on in. If he hadn't done it on his own, it wouldn't have happened.
Anyway, here some pictures I took a few days ago. I didn't realize how wide he was. My alley leading up to the headgate is 32 inches and he was rubbing both sides.
The proof of the pudding will be in the tasting. Sure hope it's good!
