What do y'all think of him? He's just headed for the freezer, that's all.

He looks good...for a steer...you need throw some silage (barley or corn) in from of him and he'll fill out a bit more, though on second thought...how much does he weigh? (I'm guessing he's around 800-900 lbs...)
 
MM - I'm "assuming" this is one of your Ang/Holst calves???
He's a little light on the rear quarters, but looks like he has good loin on him.
As usual, all your cattle look VERY healthy & well fed.
When you going to try a Simme bull on your cows for a meatier feeder?? :shock: and you could milk the females :D
 
He'll be good. If he isn't "4 stars" he'll probably still beat anything you can buy at a local meat market.
 
Pics are deceiving. He's about 1200lbs, maybe a tad over. 17ish months, and yes Jeanne, he's one of the Hol/Angus crosses.

Yes Pics are deceiving. I thought he was about the same size as mine. He is around 900. What are you finishing him on?
