Steer keeps eating

I just have a basic question. So basically what is the maximum weight a steer could get up to if they weren't slaughtered and were allowed to just keep eating? I know they would be getting fat but I need to know the max weight.

I don't know. There is an 8 year old steer in NZ that weighs over 5,600 lbs.
