Took these this morning in a strong crosswind with the lense zoomed to 560mm equivalent and then cropped on the pc to get closer. It definately wouldn't have been possible without a good image stabiliser.

They are beautiful Knersie. What amazing pictures, definitely frame worthy.
Great pic, they remind me of our Pronghorn Antelope, are you guys allowed to hunt them.... do you need tags? Just interested in how things are done on your side of the egg. :D
Also, I hope you're enjoying your summer, we are just now to middle of our winter season here, we have already had an extended period of temps in the low teens and high single digits, and woke up to about 8 inches of snow this morning. Lots of mud with more to come. (for you friends north of the border and on the east side, I'm not wining.....too much :D) Just wishing it was spring.
