Better get out the curry comb Inyati! :D Mine are all itchy too. But I noticed some hair loss, I am gonna treat for lice today. :frowns:

I clipped a few of my girls the other day... It was a new experience for the yearlings, and Kama was a little concerned about that buzzing machines, but figured out pretty quick it felt darned good. Roma remembered it from last year and begged for it, didn't need to convince her or halter her, she just stood there enjoying it... Even on her poll and snout. Sofa learnt by watching. They always look a little funny after, but it really helps them get rid of their lice. I have 2 blades for this clipper, one leaves about 3/8th of hair, the other about 1/4.. the 3/8th leaves them some insulation, but is short enough the lice can't hold on to anything. After clipping, they're always itchy, and they'll pretty much spend the day licking themselves, but I think it's also because they get much better scrubbing action from their tongue and it just feels good. Next candidates are Mega an Cenci... Mega doesn't have lice, but a clipping under the belly at least she'll like, Cenci does have a bunch, and if I can get rid of them before she calves, the calf will get less of them.
