Now this has nothing to do with the weather.
How many have caught a cold this spring?

We got a really nasty one going around right now. It is alot like bronchitisis, it starts out like a regular cold then it drops down into the chest and you go into coughing fits. Both husband and I have caught it.
 
right now early in the mornings my sinuses flair up.an if i get a bad sinus attck it turns into a cold.an boy spring colds are no fun at all.
 
A few weeks ago there was a virus going around that was terrible. It would put you in the bed for a week with 103 temp and would just drain your strength. Glad that thing is somewhere else.
 
Yes I had it a week ago. I got mine at a meeting in Omaha two weeks ago where there were 150 of us in a conference room for three and a half days. I did not realize there was any one ill until the last day and then when I got home three days later I came down with the bronchitis/fever/cough /weakness acheing thing it lasted most of a week. I still have the cough but I sure feel a lot better. I did not spread it to my dw as she decided to sleep in a different room.I sure wouldn't wish it on anyone else.
 
There is something going around right now. Last week I thought i was cathing it but I beat it out in the end by taking some meds before the cold got strong. My throat started getting raw again today. Funny I read this thread. Any good remedies for a raw throat? I usually just gargle salt and water.

yeah, theres been alot of crap going around here this year. even tuburculosis(im way off on the spelling). I only got sick once but thats about one too many times for me. theres been various schools shutting down from lack of students and teachers and substitutes.

cattle seem to be fine amazingly enough which is really all that matters right? ;-)
 
Cattle Hand try hot lemon and honey. That seems to help.
I heat up some water and lemon juice then add the honey. I mix it to taste.
 
My son had two bouts with the congestion/fever/aches thing. Doctor said it was viral, but he missed a total of three days of school.

I just had the sinus/coughing/choking/gagging kind for about a week. The wife has had what you're describing for about a week and a half now. Flat out kicked her hind-end! She was begging me to shoot her, roll her off in a ditch, and dump lime on her. Cost of lime saved the ol' gal for now! :)

Nope, and no flu either. That is one of the major benefits of only coming into contact with the goats, and the horses! :D Of course, now that I've said it, someone will wander in looking for directions, and give me either a cold or the flu. :(
