Spring calving done

We had 6 heifers to calve this spring all but one calved unassisted, the one we pulled with chains. All are doing fine. We had them bred to Fullblood Gelbvieh bulls and they were definitely easy calvers.

The sires we used were HPL Kansas Chief an RGV Hanchon Pld 18U
 
sounds like you had a good calving season, ours start any day. Its still cold, snowy, and today was even muddy in some spots here. Its always a relief when the last one calves of the year I think.

I looked through some of your pictures.. Are you sure "Sulley" isn't a cross between your two dogs? he's got the right colour!
