Last week finally finished spring calving. Working on additions to the corral, but had to stop to take some pics.

Why can't I have cool spots like Beefy's calves?
 
Cypress, I like them ears. Evidently they keep them cooler, at least they don't stay in the pond as much. Nice photos.

Congratulations on finishing up on the calving season. Thoes are some good looking calves. Thoes are angus plus calves ?

Yep, the calves in the pics are all angus sired out of brangus cows.

folks can say what they want. the ears on brax cattle are a benifit during fly season just sling their head and they swat the flies a perfect match they can completey sheild their eyes when they need too.
 
true. there was one shake her head the other day and i thought i was getting shot at.
 
in real life, for every spotted calf i have there are at least a dozen or 20 boring looking calves like this one.
