Would any one mind giving me the instructions on using the spec. scour halt This med. is labeled for pigs, but many have said, they use it for calves. Recomended dosage and age of calves. Also if you use any other meds w/ it. Thank you

I give 10cc orally at each feeding. Usually for baby calves up to 3 weeks. I don't know the weight span. I guess thats not the best formula but thats what I usually do. They normally don't have scours after a couple of weeks old. I have never had ill effects from it. Usually 2 doses does it. That dose has been safe and effective for me. Milkmaid may have a better way by means of administering the dosage by weight. That would be better. Although it is a dosage of 2cc per pig. I would guess a pig to weigh between 1.5 and 4.0 lb at birth so I don't think that dosage would be risky to a 60lb calf.
