I was visiting a friend down in Ben Bolt and we had an occasion to go help my friends Aunt. She had a hand working for her she called "Q" that didn't speak english too well.

Now "Q" had a neighbor who was not gettin' along too well and my friend asked "Q" how she was doin'. "Q" was not real sure who Bobby was talkin' about and as a point of clarification he asked "Chicken Breath"? to which Bobby responded, "yes".

"Q" went on to explain (I think) to Bobby how the lady was doin' and when he left I asked Bobby what was that all about. He says the lady in question had a respiratory problem and "Q" asked if the lady Bobby was askin' about was the one that "She couldn't breathe" (Chicken Breath).

OK, this is a true story and you would had to have been there. I laughed till I cried at the time.

That's good, Earl.

I'll 'splain it to UP216 when he can't figure it out.

Is this Spanish or German we're talking about. Thought I would ask since both are spoken fluently down there. :D I still don't get chicken breath. Maybe you had better explain, and type real slow so I won't miss anythng.

"Che Kan Breathe where breathe is being pronounced breath and it is TexMex, not German. Like I say, you had to have been there.

Oh, I read the title of the thread again. That's just like me to miss something like that.
