Spayed Heifers - photos

We purchased a bunch of our customer lighter weight heifers and steers last fall, we fed them to just grow over the winter and turned them on grass in May. Click on the link for some group photos of the heifers taken last week.

Some smaller breeders I've known recoil at the thought of actually butchering one of their heifers, including the one that charged me from 30 yards away.

Could you briefly share info on spaying. How is it done, how long does it take, cost. I assume its worth it to avoid pregnancy and better gains without coming into heat?

Costs - I can't remember the exact, but it is very affordable.
If your technician is good it will take a minute or less per heifer.
