I always heard Pyrex glass was a byproduct of the space program. I'm sure there are others. I can't imagine that an equal amount of money spent strictly on research and development wouldn't have yielded even more. Side note. My grandmother swore the moon landing was fake and professional wrestling was real. Guess my epd for skepticism is pretty high.

My mother would get so mad if I said Pro Wrestling was planed and coragraphed..
Don't know what she thought about the moon landing,she was pretty far gone with Parkinsons by that time.

I was lucky enough to see the Shuttle fly over this morning.. It was beautiful!

I got to hear the last one that blew up, was standing at the cow pen and heard a large explosion.
Then for the next few week's the whole area was nothing but government vehicles.

Did that guy who tried to keep some of the parts ever get out of prison?
Thousands of people searching for any little wire or screw,and he thought it was ok for him to keep some :shock:
