What type of grass is this?

This is another photo. I have been told many different grasses , but most people say rescuegrass or brome.

Looks like brome to me. If you look at the leaf just above where it sends out the seed stalk you will see kind of a W. If you do it's brome

That stuff is pretty prolific in one pasture that I turned the cows in on today. They tore that grass up.

Native is called cheat and improved is called brome. Good stuff to fill in gaps of fescue pastures. Let it have a chance to seed out to keep it around and spreading.
