Son just came home upset.
Someone has gotten into the truck he drives up to the bus stop. He found a box of live .22 rounds dumped on the floor of the truck on the drivers side.
He has a cross box tool box in the back. One side does not work, but the other side worked fine until today. That side is now broken too. Someone forced it open.

He's pretty upset. No idea of who got into the truck. Told him to lock it from now on.
He keeps the truck clean and there were no boxes of .22 ammo in the truck.

I would say go to the police just in case the truck was used to do something illegal.

Suzie the truck was not moved and it is a real distinctive truck so someone using it would be noticed.
It's got my EMS and firefighter stickers in the back window, just about everyone knows who's truck it is.

Knowing my luck if I called out the sheriff's department I would get the one deputy that does nothing. Had him out before, never found the books stolen out of the school house.
