Heres a 12 year old cow that is nothing special but ive always liked. She needs some groceries; they all do. She calved tonight during American Idol.

just a heifer calf. 7/8 beefmaster. the other eighth would be Charolais.

Dang Beefy, that grass is awfully short. :( I would have to argue with you about that first cow being 'nothing special', though. She kind of reminds me of our 130, who is very special, just a different color! I seriously doubt that you could find a better lead cow than 130 is, usually very unobtrusive and easy going, but she has saved our butts on more than one occasion, she raises an excellent calf every year, and is very easy to work with unless you're messing with her calf the first week or so after it's born.
 
Beefy has the same problem I have. No rain! Hopefully that is about to change in the next day or two.
