Some manure questions??

If a cow eats 3% of her body weight daily and requires about 50 gallons of water a day,how many lbs of manure will it produce a day?
The answer may suprise some folks . Also do you want the manure to be soft or the hard kind that builds up like a mountain ? What does the condition of the manure tell you about the cows digestive system? How many gallons of blood has to pass through the udder to produce one gallon of milk? Does anyone else have any cow trivia question?

Some of the anti meat literature makes cows responsible for 99% of the fresh water used in the world. :? That is an exageration, but you get the point.
At 8.3 lbs per gallon, water is a consideration in most commercial transactions in Ag. A good cattle buyer learns to spot "water fill" his first day on the job.

"Typical" manure will only run from 15=20% dry matter (80-85% water)

You had me curious on this question so I Googled it and from what I can find they claim it takes about 500 gallons of blood passing through the udder to produce 1 gallon of milk. I found that to be amazing because if a dairy cow produces 85 pounds of milk in a day, she will have pumped ~5,000 gallons through her udder in a day's time. That comes out to be ~3.5 gallons of blood per minute!
