What you think of a 'situation vacant' ad with no contact name or phone number and no hint of farm location closer than regional?
Only point of contact is a randomised hotmail address.

That sort of makes me wonder, what are they hiding? A lot of people reading these ads are looking to work in a very specific location, so wouldn't respond. How do you respond respectfully to someone who doesn't have a name?

You're right. I know of two farm owners in that region well known for shafting their employees... it's not one of them because he doesn't own a farm of that description. I can't honestly see another reason to be that obscure.

There's a simple way round that that most with a reputation that bad can use - a recruitment agency advert.
