Some cows just aren't fit to be mom's.

Had one similar cow. Bought her as a pregnant heifer. She would be kick and punch the calf, but was very quiet with us milking her. She acted the same with the first two calves. Had to bottle feed them. She was quite suspicious with her 3rd calf at first, but soon accepted it. No problems since then. Sold her last year at 14 years age. Have two her daughters as cows, very good moms,their daughters too, a son of one was used as a herd bull for one season and all his daughters are good mothers; and one her daughter is due to have her 1st calf in autumn.
