My husband does alot of things well on the farm. But one of the things he is exceptional at is raising bred heifers. When we wean, I get to pick out the best heifers. After I pick them, we both go into the pen and disect each heifer. We both have to agree or the heifer hits the road. Then hubby takes over. He feeds them, I vaccinate etc...but he does the rest. These heifers will be two in March 2011. They have had no grain just hay in the winter and their own pasture in the summer. He is pretty happy with how they look

On a side note, when i took the pics, I just got them up from a beautiful November afternoon siesta. They were none too pleased about having to pose for pics
This was the only pic I could get of this girl. I got her up, she stood for a moment and was not impressed and took a walk, not willing to "pose" for a pic
This one's brisket is kind of large. Hopefully not an issue. Vet is our to preg test on Tueday. See what he says
