Sold a few calves this week...

and prices are still awesome. They were 600 weight uncut bull calves; they brought 2.17/lb. I'll take that every day of the week! I'm enjoying the ride while it lasts.

I sold a few black steers about that same size two weeks ago, and that's about what they brought. I also sold two Brangus Hereford cross heifers. They averaged 530 lbs, and $270.00. I wish I had more of those this year.

Hauled some 4 wts today brought 3.40 a pound average.
