What is the water source here?

Brand of pump?

Pretty sure its a Centric submersible Water source is the 50 ft well behind the 200 gal blue insulated trough(3rd pic)(heat off the water keeps the hole open.

And the 200 gallons is enough to get you through after some overcast days?

So far so good ( time will tell its a new setup.) It has twice the solar panels then it calls for.plus we have ample battery storage (24Volt) in a insulated box.If we start having problems, will likely add a wind generator to the system.

I would imagine that the cows use somewhere around 1300 or more gallons a day.The trough likely only drops about 50 gallons or so before the pill switch kicks the pump on.
