Soil sample help

I'm about to test my soul, 24 acres. Should I collect from multiple areas of the pasture and mix them to send in as one sample? Send in multiple samples of the different areas? Thanks for any help

Sam sample several different areas over field. Mix and send in

It depends on if you can visually see a noticeable difference in some areas. I usually take multiple samples from the poorest looking areas and mix them and send them in. If I have one area that is really pathetic and the rest looks pretty good I send in a sample of that area by itself along with another from the rest of the field.

Do the whole field as one if you fertilize and lime it as one.
