The wife was disappointed when she decided that at 72 she was just too old to go sledding. I pointed out a hill with a gentle slope and lots of run out but she declined. Then yesterday late afternoon I pulled up in front of the house. There was a big snow ball in the front yard. She was busy. I asked her what was up? She said she was making a snowman. So now we have Frosty the Snowman in our yard. Too old to go sledding but still young enough to build a snowman. I guess I am lucky she didn't want to have a snowball fight.

The wife has a sled that was left here by the former owners. When the snow gets too deep to push a wheelbarrow from the wood shed to the house we use the sled to carry wood. Walking the dogs up on the hill she picked a spot to go sledding. Yesterday late afternoon she took the wood sled up the hill. She told me if she wasn't back by dark to send a ST Bernard with the jug of brandy strapped under its chin. I should have gone along with the camera but she didn't want photographic evidence. She said it was fun but would have been more fun if she had some kids for company.
