Snow in the east?

We have promised by 8 yr old daughter if she continues to do well in school, we will take her to see her first real snow Pres day weekend (feb 18th).
Where would you guys suggest we can fly to and be able drive within an hour of the airport to see some snow that weekend? Preferably a short flight from Orlando Florida and in the east.

We have a place in Boone NC area, but it might be under construction at that time(remodeling), plus, it is 2 hours from the airport and snow is iffy there.

Any ideas?

South of Buffalo New York if you want garanteed snow in Feburary.
Lots of ski resorts and hills south of the city and we get some of the highest annual snowfall in the continental states that doesn't involve trekking up a mountain.
Holiday Valley, Kissing Bridge, Holimont, Cockaigne are just a few of the ski resorts in the area.

Holiday Valley is located in Ellicotville, NY and is about 60 minutes south of the city on 219.

You need to get out of the city to see the nice white pristine stuff but I garantee you'll find snow here in feburary.
