snake problem...

I have a baby copper head problem. I've killed three in the last couple of weeks up on my porches. I have lots of potted plants on the porches and LOTS of little bitty frogs that hang around and in the potted plants. I think the snakes are coming by for quick snack of frog legs. Any ideas on how to get rid of the frogs? Or the snakes for that matter?

Start by getting rid of the plants as they are probably attracting insects which attracts the frogs which in turn attracts the snakes.

Lights on the porch will attract the insects, you used to be able to get yellow fluro tubes and light bulbs that weren't attractive to the bugs.
Years ago when I lived down on the coast we had one those bug zappers on the back of the house and in summer if you went out there at night there would be about 20 big cane toads all sitting under the zapper looking skyward for the falling zapped bugs. They didn't mind them toasted a bit.

My momma keeps moth balls scattered pretty heavy around her house. Especially the crawl space door and porch. Not sure if works, but it'd be worth a try.

I have used sulfur the last two years and it does seem to help....
