Slaughter bull prices are $1.05-$1.10 in my area. Y'all think they will go any higher and how long will they stay where they are? I know it's always a guess but just wondering what y'all think.
The next spike in price will be in the 2nd and 3rd. week of June. Now thats assuming the price doesn't go down between now and then.
Seems like the kill market is holding up good.
slaughter bulls here in north east texas are bringing from .85 to $1.15 a lb.an i hope they dont go down anytime soon as im getting ready to send 2 bulls asap.

Sold one at Guthrie a few weeks ago, 1855# for $1.03, bought him as a yearling and sold him for more than I paid for him. With bull prices like they are now, I can't do that again.
With as few cow's that are going through the ring here I don't see price's letting up.
Finally got the lights and brakes working on the 26' gooseneck as I am hauling for the neighbor's and I have a couple of steer's. Last week Crockett had 600 head total, before the drought it was 2500 head a week.
i had the cowboys coming to load a bull thurs evening.but we had a good talk an he said with every1s cows calving late.that id be better served to keep my bull till july or till i could find a bull.an right now i cant find a bull no where.so im watching the bull prices an if they start going down ill haul the bull to town.
