From what I can recall, it was a bunch of months ago......maybe last summer?? Not too sure.

Maybe this is a question for a different post, but what qualities must a calve have to be seen as a show calf? I always wondered what people look for.

Good post, I might even post a pic of my black Hereford calves

I got a brand new one out of that yellow Char/Herf with a touch of Brimmer cross today.
She didn't seem real trilled with me doing a close inspection.
Little fella looked like you could put him your shirt pocket.
One to go and I am through and she looks like any minute so they will be 5 weeks apart
from start to finish.

She was born today.. Her name is Ironic I named her that because tonight is the state heifer sale I am going to and that's where her mama came from 4 years ago. I got within 10 feet of her baby she wasn't having it so I backed off.

This is one of 3 I had on my birthday. Heifer calf out of a half angus x Charolais cow and a brangus bull.
