Monday morning presented two young men on the court’s docket that were charged with drug offenses. They both plead guilty and are sentenced to probation with community service. The judge addressed them both before adjourning and told them that they should use their community service time to help others with drug problems. They were to report back to the judge in 90 days.
After the 90 days both young men were back in court to report to the judge. The judge asked the first "What did you do to help others with drug problems?" The young man said, "Well, your honor, I persuaded seven people to give up drugs forever." "Seven people! That's wonderful. What did you tell them? "I used a diagram, your honor. I drew two circles and told them this (the big circle) is your brain before drugs and this (small circle) is your brain after drugs." "That's admirable," said the judge. "And you, how did you do?" (to the 2nd young man) "Well, your honor, I persuaded 87 people to give up drugs forever. "Eighty-seven people! That's amazing! How did you manage to do that! "Well, sir, I used a similar approach. (draws two circles) I said (pointing to small circle) this is your azzhole before prison..... and (pointing to the large circle) this is your azzhole after prison.
