I doubt this is your issue, but I’ll mention it just in case. One year after months of mud I noticed my rear diff lock wasn’t disengaging. I tilted the bed into the dump position to take a look and the entire transaxle was covered in dried/hard mud. Turns out all that mud was applying enough pressure to the actuator that it couldn’t disengage. I cleaned all the mud off and it’s been fine ever since.
