We had a heifer acting not quite right 3 days ago, I called the vet he came out and said the heifer had a uterine torsion!! Long story short and six hours later, a calf had to be cut out of the heifer. The heifer was administered LA 300 and Banamine. 38 hours later we were told 10cc of Dex and 10 cc banamine. She ate her grain that night but no hay/water. It is now 14 hours after that, vet is off the weekend and I have one dose(11cc) of Draxxin in a syringe and am wondering if I should dose her with that instead of LA 300 as she has gone almost the 72 hours to re-administer the drug. Also, I don't know how much banamine/frequency I should give her. She was expensive and now with a 6 hour surgery looming, the cost is high. I don'y really know what to do. I would like to give her a chance....
