I have a sick bull calf "Lucky". Suspicions of a type of brd. We gave him baytril a week ago and he perked up then it came back and another shot of baytril. No luck. Tried durapen for two days so far he is in bad shape today. Very lethargic foaming out his mouth weak still able to walk slowly and taking a bottle still just slowly. Not looking good for him. He is a 4 week old full Angus bull calf. I've called a few vets in the area being Saturday no luck even on their emergency lines. I have no clue how much a vet will charge for something like this plus being Saturday. My question is would the vet cost to save him be worth it versus bullet. Another question is BRD something that needs to be tested for to see if he infested the rest of my cattle?
