The water thing will take time. I rinse my calves every day, twice a day, and they still move around. The best thing you could do for that is put some wooden posts about shoulder lenghth away from where you tie him. *not sure if your on dirt or cement* This will keep him from swinging around and teach him to stand still at the same time. (If your not sure what I mean, I'll try to explain better, just let me know)
What do you mean by 'shaky'? Is he afraid of it? This will again take time. Start out by having him tied up. Stand by his head and hold on to the lead (kinda like your showing him) Rub his legs with the showstick. Don't poke just yet. Do this for 10-15 minutes until he is used to it or calms down. Turn him loose. After he gets used to you rubbing his legs and down toward his hoof, then ***gently*** start to move his feet. If he moves his foot, rub his belly. Again, do this for 10-15 minutes. Always end on a good note. Like after he moves his foot, scratch his belly and turn loose.
