No but I do have a nibbler. I hear those strap-on shears are not very good. If you need shears, keep your eyes on ebay. I have seen some pretty good deals if your are patient.

I'm really just looking for a step up from the old fashioned tin snips. It's not something I'll use every day, just when I need to cut roofing tin for the barn or flashing for post caps. Anything has to be better than those cursed hand snips.

Cut roofing tin with a skill saw and old carbide blade. Wear long sleeves and safty glasses. ;-) P.S. don't turn the blade around backwards. Some do it that way but I perfer to use it in the right direction.

The guy that built a feed barn for us used those (unsure what brand/whatever he had). He had tried different kinds and happened upon a brand that he absolutely loved. I used them, too, and they worked great. Going over ridges in the tin, anywhere. Sure beat the heck out of using a skilsaw or the tin snips.

Well, this contraption works as advertised. I attached it to an 18v Makita and the mount never vibrated loose. The only problem I had was cutting some old tin that has the narrow corrugations. The jaws don't open quite enough to get over the ridges. Other than that it beats hand snips all to heck.
