Select Sires First and Goal

Anyone used this bull? Wondering what his calves come like? His BW EPD is a bit troubling for me although I have a couple cows I think he would work on maybe for a few show type calves.

I wouldn't use him that is one rotten Ced score.

I used his sire on some shorthorn cows for a guy a few years ago trying for show calves and he wound up getting rid of every calf. He said they looked great but they were nasty to work around and I know that it didn't come from the cow side. He got them halter broke pretty young but from what he said they were vindictive little suckers that wouldn't pass up an opportunity to kick or run you over.

Well I definitely don't want anything mean as my 5 yr old will be showing them.

And yes the Ced sucks on him but to get the right calf crossed on the right cow in would use him.

Yes he is nice too. I honestly doubt I'll use any show bulls and just keep showing performance bred cattle when we choose to show
.. Although that bull could make some amazing calves for the ring im sure.
