One of four catfish caught by scouts this past weekend in my ponds.
This one weighed 26 pounds, largest went 34 lbs.

Sweeet! I bet they had a blast. Good of you! You probably made more of a difference in those boys lives than you will ever realize.

I hope so, Jo. Most of the kids are inner city kids and have never been to a working ranch nor have they ever fished. The kid on the right (fish killer, I call him) was a great inspiration to the others because he had patience. He caught three of the four big ones that were landed. The young man on the left caught this fish but had to give up on landing it because it wore him out. Fish killer landed it for him. They caught enough fish to feed 45 and had a lot left over. Five kids earned their merit badges for fishing and 15 won their shooting (traps and .22) merit badges. No injuries or broken bones and I think everyone had a great time. All were very respectful and well mannered. But I think I was to one who had the most fun.
