Spent the day in Lagrange at an archery shoot with my daughter and her boyfriend. They did well, he ended up 2nd. and she ended up 11th. overall. There was 210 kids shooting in 6 different flights.
 

My daughters boyfriend is the one on the left. The regional qualifying starts in 2 weeks and then the nationals will be held in Kentucky in February.
Yes Hook there was 40 shooting at a time. Her boyfriend is the big kid on the left.
 
My daughter began the archery in the schools program this year. Her first contest is coming up soon.... Sounds like fun!
 
That's great and you'll all have lots fun Fire Sweep Ranch. All the kids are well mannered. This is my daughters first year. In her first competition this year she shot a 214 out of 300. Today she shot a 258 out of a possible 300. She has finally figured the shooting out now she's working on her nerves and breathing. At the house she can shoot in the low 280's so she knows she can do it.

An adjoining county to mine, is pretty well known for their archery program. I have always wanted to go see them shoot.
 
Yes they are Bigfoot. Someone from there wins the nationals every year, in at least one division. Joshua says the kids in Kentucky must not have anything to do but practice shooting their bows. He talked my daughter into bow shooting last year, she didn't want to step on his toes.
But it's too late now, she's hooked.
