Local barns have had issues recently finding managers and field men. Latest rumor is one barn may close, and local sales will be consolidated. Are you seeing a trend like this? Is Craigs list, or another social media site, picking up alot of business?

Its always a struggle to find workers to do local sale. If you find someone competent, you pay them handsomely or prepare to close the doors. Managers are even a greater rarity. Lots of stress and organization involved - if the buyers are happy, the consignors are pissed or vice versa. You have to be wired for it. I honestly don't know the point of field men. Fire them and pay the manager more to do the same thing. Field men are 60's/70's icon, working over the producer like a mob boss trying to score a deal. It's the 21st century, fuel is expensive but phone calls are cheap.
