What is MIG?

I'm going to take a guess.. multiple intensive grazing...

Probably not, 1 or 2 cuts a year is about what it likes I think...

Right now at our place it's about 3 feet high and thick as hair, just starting to flower... I put about 5 lbs/ acre of seed into a field I resowed and I'll see how it does mixed in... I put a heck of a lot of alfalfa in there too,... between the alfalfa, timothy and red clover, I sowed nearly 20 lbs/acre... I had the brillion seeder nearly wide open on the alfalfa box... I also put in about 50 lbs/acre of an oat/barley mix as a cover crop... I'll see how it turns out

MIG is Management Intensive Grazing, broken down this way --"Management Intensive" Grazing. Cattle are on a plot of ground from a half day to 3 days then removed until the regrowth is ready to be removed.

2 out of 3 isn't bad for a guess ;)

I don't think it's very good for it if you want a stand to last a long time, but it would be worth a try I guess?
